I always completely loved the idea of creating my own website. From the age of about 10, or even before that i had websites at MatMice, Piczo, 81x you name it, I bet I had one. They were of all different subjects - reading, problems, Harry Potter are a few examples. So Ive always made free sites since whenever. I also used to be a really big fan of neopets and learnt basic HTML and css from building layouts for guilds and neopets profiles. My first blog was started on livejournal a coupld of years ago. I think I was 14? Something like that. It probably wasnt very interesting, I didnt have many livejournal friends and It was just for myself really. Thats lost now unfortunatly, and i have no idea what my username was!

A while after that I got obsessed with the musical Wicked. Well I still am to be frank but back then I had no website experience. The turning point was when i went to see Wicked on west end for its 2nd official birthday there and Sarah Earnshaw was on as Glinda. I loved Sarahs portrayal of her, and went back to see her many times when she was on because she was (and still is) the Standby. I had a bit of photoshopping knowledge by then so i made a simple layout for a fansite and showed it to someone I had met through Wicked called Sophie (itsallgreen.org). She coded my initial layout, and from then on I studied the coding and copying and pasting it I started to slowly teach myself how to code layouts.

After that I bought my own domain fabala.co.uk. It was my first real website and I loved it. I blogged there and also used it as a graphics site where i showed the things I had been making on photoshop. The only real reason why that stopped was because my friends and alot of people i knew knew about the site and whenever I wanted to blog about something personnal it got really awkward. People around me always knew stuff I didnt really want them to know.

I got a new domain name then when i missed blogging so much. Scattered-memories.co.uk. Theres not really a story behind the name. I just like the word 'scattered' and memories just seemed appropriate for a blog site. It went offline in February 2009 until it was rescued by Afef who gave loads of help with hosting and such, so now it has reopened! Phew. Well thats the site history!


Unfortuneatly since when this site was first opened I've lost all the past layouts, but since its second lauch in May 09, Im planning to keep and display everyone!

Lets say this is Version 1.
Its called Midnight Magic.

It was the first layout for when the site reopened.
I really loved this when it first opened because i thought it was really unique and different. I hadnt seen another layout like it. In the end though, After only a few weeks i decided it was a bit too dark for my liking and didnt really give off the right feel for the site. It also feature Kerry Ellis as Elphaba the witch in the design, and that just made me sad because shes left Wicked forever. :( sad times!
